Radiator Humidifier - A Heating System Transition
With the use of modern heating systems, dry air is produced causing some irritable conditions and discomforts. To counteract this effect of dried air, the use of a humidifier is beneficial and more households are using it for the convenience of added moisture to the surrounding air. There are actually several forms of humidifiers. One of which is the radiator humidifier. This kind of humidifier does not get as much attention as other popular humidifier types as cool mist, warm mist, ultrasonic and other modern technology inspired humidifiers.
A radiator humidifier however brings transition from the conventional modern humidifier system. While other humidifier models use high technology in its heating system, a radiator humidifier simply works through these steps: turning the radiator on will cause it to get hot and in turn warms the water inside the humidifier. Warming the water will cause it to evaporate thereby creating moisture into the air. The water heated with a radiator humidifier does not get too hot enough to cause a burn.
An oil filled radiator humidifier comes in compact design that allows it to fit in conspicuous space where traditional radiator humidifier cannot. It has a vertical chimney that heats the rooms gently in a quiet manner. The oil filled radiator humidifier has an oil reservoir that quickly heats up without the need for refilling. It automatically turns on when temperature drops below 44 degree Fahrenheit with its anti-freezing setting. It comes with 3 power settings for your desired heat level.
An evaporative humidifier called the Two Aqua Radiator Humidifier can be placed hanging on the radiator and uses the radiator heat to release healthy air into the atmosphere. It has a translucent plastic container that enables you to monitor the water level content with better visibility. It uses a paper insert soaking the water from the base unit to enhance the evaporation process. The paper insert have Slime-Trol RX31 responsible for preventing mould and bacteria growth that requires replacement every 6 weeks.
The Capri Radiator Humidifier posses the same features as the Aqua Radiator Humidifier but the evaporative pad uses DILURIT 876 acting against fungi and bacterial formation. A better unit made durable and lasting is the Casana Steel Radiator Humidifier which is made from stainless steel. It produces improved evaporation process with a water level window. The pads need to be frequently treated however to maintain its hygiene and inhibit bacteria and mold formations. It necessitates periodic pad changes every 6 weeks.
Radiator humidifier is a transition in the heating system because of its simple and conventional use. However, it does not possess modern technologies employed in modern humidifiers but its simple evaporative process provides sufficient performance in moisturizing the air.
